Dark Nights: Metal Has a Soundtrack Coming, and It Rocks

You might have been wondering, with Dark Nights: Metal, what it is that makes a comic book so metaaaaaaal! We certainly did...

Well, now we know. It's getting a metal soundtrack! Composer Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Samurai Jack) and producer Mike Elizando (50 Cent, Eminem, Maroon 5, Muse) have been cooking up some crunchy riffs, and before you can say "Holy Headbang!" they're gonna Zap! Bang! Pow! your eardrums.

Okay, maybe not before. In this new video from DC, there's almost four minutes of talking in the five-minute video before they get to rocking out.

It's tough to read a comic while moshing, especially if you want to keep it in pristine condition, so this may all be part of a larger scheme to make you buy two of everything when your first copy gets trampled in the pit. Totally worth it, though.

What other comics could use soundtracks? Whenever we read about a certain Marvel android, Queen's "One Vision" certainly comes to mind. Too obvious?
