Chris Hemsworth Memorializes Thor's Hammer, Gets Best Celebrity Response Ever

Ah, Mjolnir. Or as a former supporting cast member of the Thor movies called it, mewmew. (Can we please get Darcy back?) We barely knew ye -- even before Thor: Ragnarok came out we had to brace ourselves, knowing from all the trailers that Hela was gonna crush you something fierce.

As a tribute, Thor himself just posted an In Memorium video to Twitter that gives us all the manual tool feels.

That was the end of Mjolnir, and could have been the end of the tribute. But then this happened:

Yes, MC Hammer, who has a natural kinship with Mjolnir -- they're both hammers you can't touch or hurt -- is offering his services to a Norse thunder god.

Even better, he's talking like one. When somebody pointed out that "its" as a possessive does not take an apostrophe, his response was positively space-Shakespearean:

Wow. Here we thought you had to die with a sword in your hand to enter the halls of glory. All we had to do was correct a rapper's grammar?

Oh. "Hollow" halls. Sarcasm.

He was sincere about going into space with Thor, though, right?
