Wizard World Postpones Sacramento Event Until September 2019

Wizard World announced today that its Sacramento convention, originally scheduled for October 5-7 at Cal Expo, will be postponed until September 20-22, 2019.

The updated timing will allow Wizard World to focus on its remaining 2018 shows in Austin this weekend and Madison, Nov. 30 - Dec. 2, and its first quarter 2019 events in New Orleans (Jan. 4-6), Portland (Feb. 22-24) and Cleveland (March 8-10).

The selection of the September 20-22, 2019, dates for Sacramento brings the 2019 Wizard World Calendar to 12 currently scheduled events. Fans who had previously purchased Sacramento 2018 tickets will receive a full refund as well as a unique code good for a 2-for-1 purchase on any weekend admission for the 2019 Sacramento dates.

Wizard World events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.

Wizard World is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evenings at each event.
