K.I.T.T from 'Knight Rider'

KNIGHT RIDER is an American television series that ran from September 26, 1982, to April 4, 1986. The series was broadcast on NBC and starred David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a modern-day "knight" who drove an advanced car with artificial intelligence while fighting crime.

Kitt (Knight Industries Two Thousand) was designed by the late Wilton Knight, a brilliant but eccentric billionaire and founder of the Foundation for Law And Government (FLAG) and its parent Knight Industries.

This replica started out as a 1982 Trans Am, which is the exact year as the original Kitt. It took three years to do a full ground-up restoration of the car. With the goal of sticking with all things 82, the car was built with mostly NOS parts from 82. Every part of the car is 100 percent screen acurate to the original Kitt. Thanks to friend & enthusiast Marc Brown, this car has a one off custom front bumper built just for this car. All gauges work with the values of the car and it even has the jet turbine sound when the car is on. This replica sports a low mile 305 crossfire engine which is believed to be the correct engine based on Season 2 episode 1.
