Josy Jones

Josy Jones is an actor, director, playwright and community builder. As an artist, Jones' goals are to tell the stories of those who need to be heard and to appreciate under-utilized spaces in our communities. As the founder of the Chameleon Village Theatre Collective, a site-specific theatre company, she has had the privilege of activating galleries, a tattoo parlor, and even a public playground. She has also gotten the opportunity to work with theaters to amplify stories of under-represented communities, including writing and performing a one-woman children's show about the life of Sojourner Truth through the Illusion Factory, text curation for QuTheatr, performing in Ohio Shakespeare's She Kills Monsters.

Josy began performing as Tiana from the Princess and the Frog for Spectacular Entertainment in 2017, where she was introduced to the world of cosplay. Shortly after, she won a regional search to portray Cleveland's resident anti-hero Nikki St Clair AKA the Tap Dance Killer for Hero Tomorrow Comics. She has gone on to portray that character at conventions throughout the Northeast Ohio and live on stage at Fashion Week Cleveland and "Tap Dance Killer's Comic Book Cabaret." She is honored to be adding more representation to the cosplay and comic world through her portrayal of Tap Dance Killer.
