Jim Ross, or famously referred to as "Good Ol’ J.R.", has been one of wrestling’s most influential figures over the better part of four decades, both as an executive and as the most recognizable announcer in the business. As the Executive VP of Talent Relations for WWE he recruited and signed household entertainment names such as The Rock, John Cena, Dave Bautista, Brock Lesnar, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho and many more!
During the WWE's Attitude Era, the most famous of its kind, JR took over the TV screens of millions of fans watching around the world. his voice is synonymous with the Attitude Era. JR recently continued his work with WWE at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando (2017), Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans, LA (2018) and at WWE's Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia this past April.
Known to sports entertainment fans around the world as the Voice of Professional Wrestling, J.R. has traveled the world and had a ringside seat for some of the most amazing moments in pro wrestling history. Coining the phrase "business is about to pick up" and sporting his trademark black Resistol cowboy hat, Good Ol' J.R. was a WWE staple in the broadcast booth following his debut in 1993.
