Briana Buckmaster

Briana Buckmaster

Briana Buckmaster is an actor, singer and voice over performer originally hailing from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan Canada. She received her training through the prestigious Theatre Arts program at Grant MacEwan University. While performing plays and musicals on stages across North America she has also worked extensively with renowned improv comedy companies including the Canadian Comedy Award winning Die-Nasty. Briana is an Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Award winner for numerous productions that she has performed with the theatre company Teatro La Quindicina (with whom she proudly remains company member). Her writing credits include the sell-out hit play Tunnels of Little Chicago which toured across Western Canada, and White Ninja- a dark comedic web series originally created for Vine. Over the last few years Briana has been making her transition into film and television. She was lucky enough to receive the (then very small) role of Sheriff Donna Hanscum on Supernatural which not only won her the highly regarded Leo Award for her performance, but it also garnered accolades from critics and peers, and made her a fan favourite. These honours made Briana a good candidate to become a recurring on the series where she happily returns regularly. Briana resides in Vancouver Canada with her husband and daughter where she continues to study her craft and appear on stage, in voice, and on television
