Tasya Teles, Echo, “The 100,” Coming to Portland!

Description

Tasya Teles is a quintessential West Coast girl with her bohemian sensibility and earthy good looks, but don’t let her laid-back vibe fool you. Tasya is a tour de force when it comes to her career. She was launched into the spotlight in 2013 with her first ever role, recurring on DirecTV’s “Rogue” opposite Thandie Newton and Tasya has been working steadily since her debut. She can soon be seen bringing new life to the fierce ‘Grounder’ warrior, ‘Echo’, on The CW’s “The 100”.

Born in Toronto to a Brazilian father and Ukrainian mother, she fled the winters with her family at the age of five to her new home in Vancouver. Her artistic potential has been evident from an early age, often finger painting on the bedroom walls, canvases, and performing in public since preschool. After finding some success while modeling in high school, Tasya chose to focus on theatre while studying at Concordia University in Montréal. Upon returning to her home in Vancouver, Tasya dedicated herself completely to her craft. She began reading everything she could find on acting, voice work, and technique, and soon began booking roles.

Tasya played a recurring role on DirecTV’s “Rogue”, and is a recurring guest star on The CW’s “The 100” in the role of Echo. She has appeared on Showcase’s “Continuum”, Lifetime’s “Witches of East End”, USA Network’s “Rush”, BBC American’s “Intruders” and The CW’s “Supernatural” and “iZombie”.
