Jens Robinson, President of CartoonArts International (CAI), earned a JD from Northwestern University, MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and AB from Dartmouth College. Jens has participated in conferences on media and cartooning in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, United Kingdom, France, Turkey, Japan and China, and his articles have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Prince Claus Journal and Inspicio among other print and online publications.
With his father, the late Jerry Robinson, Jens developed CAI into a global company, representing creators from 75 countries and providing cartoons to the media worldwide. CartoonArts has partnered with a wide range of organizations including the Smithsonian, Freedom Forum, US State Department, Hallmark, Rizzoli and GoComics, and produced exhibitions at the invitation of the United Nations for conferences around the world.
Jens co-edited the 2017 book from Dark Horse, Jerry and the Joker: Adventures and Comic Art, a hardcover collection of his legendary father’s memoirs and artwork. As conservator of the Robinson collection of comic and cartoon art, Jens speaks to groups and lends works to galleries, museums, and other institutions.
