Andres started working professionally doing some books for Avatar Press, like Joe R. Landsdale The Drive-In, By Bizarre Hands, or Yuggoth Creatures. He also did Pistolfist: Revolutionary Warrior for Alias, and other books like Helios: Under the Gun and Purity for Dakuwaka, and Ape Entertainment’s Cartoonapalooza.
For Marvel, he debuted with the Son of Hulk ongoing, written by Paul Jenkins, and after that, he did Dark Reign: Hawkeye #5 and Namor: The First Mutant #4. Moving to DC Comics, he did Gotham City Sirens #10-#11 & #13, with inker Raul Fernandez, and, after a brief pause to pencil Joker’s Asylum: The Riddler, he became GCS’s ongoing artist until its finale.
Andres has also colaborated on books like Red Lanterns, Resurrection Man, Nightwing, Justice League of America's Vibe; Justice League and JLA (the backup stories starring the Martian Manhunter, now en vogue because of the Supergirl TV show). After drawing one arc of Superboy written by the legendary Marv Wolfman, Andres became Justice League Dark’s ongoing artist until the book’s final issue dictated by the Convergence event.
Andres has just finished a story for Sensation Comics: Wonder Woman, and he’s working on designs, covers, and... other things for... something still not announced by Valiant. More news about it very soon!
